Dear OKEx users,
COVER was attacked by hackers at 08:11:06 on Dec 28 (UTC), causing this contract to issue additional tokens far exceeding the project's original total supply and causing dramatic price fluctuations. As protecting OKEx users' assets remains our top priority, we contacted the COVER protocol team immediately and suspended the COVER deposit channel.
The COVER team took a snapshot when the block height of ETH reached 11,541,218 at 08:11:06 on Dec 28, 2020 (UTC) and exchanged new COVER tokens at a ratio of 1:1.
Our exchange plan for COVER tokens is as follows:
1. We will suspend COVER/USDT and COVER/ETH spot trading and COVER withdrawals at 10:00 am on Dec 31, 2020 (UTC).
2. We will take a snapshot of all COVER tokens held by OKEx users and record the results at 10:30 am on Dec 31, 2020 (UTC).
3. After claiming new COVER tokens, we will ensure an airdrop at a ratio of 1:1 to users based on the snapshot results mentioned above. We will post further announcements when the airdrop time is confirmed.
4. For COVER deposits that were not received after OKEx suspended the COVER depositing service, the COVER team will airdrop the transfer address in the exchange or wallet after specifying the block height.
Please stay tuned as we’ll make further announcements on the deposit, trading and withdrawals of the new COVER token.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused. Thank you for your continued support as we ensure our best services at all times.
Best regards,
OKEx
